Your first hour

Get in

1. Install the OPEN//77 launcher from open2077.net and find NightCore RP in the server list.
2. If the city is whitelisted, apply on this website first. You can only enter once staff approve you.
3. When you arrive, register at the NCID desk: your name, date of birth and origin. That is your character for good, so think it through.

Your first steps

• F1 opens the city guide any time: places, controls and these first steps.
• You start with 500 €⁠$ and a starter kit: holophone, 2 × bottle of water and burrito.
• Walk to the Employment Agency on Kabuki Gallery, upstairs at the north end of Kabuki Market, and pick a civilian job. F9 clocks you in.
• Wages are paid every 10 minutes of active work, straight into your bank account. Without a job the city pays a small welfare of 40 €⁠$.
• Hunger and thirst drain over time (F10). Noodle Row in Kabuki Market sells water and food.

Things that surprise new players

• Nobody's name floats above their head. You learn names by asking. See the rules on names.
• Police, medics and mechanics are real players. If nobody is on shift, nobody comes.
• Time runs at 2 city hours per real hour. Night falls every 12 real hours.
• What is in your pockets can be taken. Keep your money in the bank.
