Buying a car

Each car costs a registration fee and an insurance premium every city week (see Money and bills).
Garages
- Store your car at a garage and take it out again there. The public lot is on the Afterlife street.
- U locks and unlocks your car.
- Leave a car in the road and it may be towed. The impound fee is 500 €$.
Getting around without a car
Call a Delamain cab from the City tab of your holophone. On-duty drivers are paged; the meter starts at 50 €$ plus 15 €$ per 100 metres, paid in cash.
Repairs
Mechanics repair, refuel, paint and tow. Call one from the City tab of your holophone; they bill you with an invoice you accept.
